The Pacific Advanced Placement Institute has been family owned and operated since 1997. It was founded by educators who were involved both in AP instruction and as presenters with the College Board. Richard and Sandra Parsons and John and Susan McGehee created the Institute to be a unique and professional learning environment, set along some of the most beautiful coastline in California. While the Parsons and McGehees have since retired, the legacy they began continues today. Today, Michael and Deb Basham along with Andy and Debbie Parsons run and operate the institute. Mike Basham has been a long time presenter since 1997 and co-director since 2009. Deb Basham has assisted in numerous responsibilities since 1997. Andy and Debbie Parsons are the son and daughter-in-law of Richard and Sandra and have assisted in various ways since 2013. We are excited to have you join us in Monterey and look forward to having a memorable and rewarding experience.
